Kampot, Cambodia Community Project

We invite you to be part of a transformative journey that aims to uplift the lives of vulnerable communities in Kampot, Cambodia. Your partnership can make a significant difference in addressing the critical issues of poverty, education, and livelihood in this beautiful yet underserved region.
Background on Poverty in Kampot
Kampot, like many areas in Cambodia, grapples with high levels of poverty. Approximately 30% of the population lives below the national poverty line, struggling to meet their basic needs. Access to quality education is limited, with many children dropping out of school to support their families. The lack of vocational training and income-generating opportunities further perpetuates the cycle of poverty, leaving families trapped and without hope for a better future.
Our Project: Education, Livelihood, Water & Sanitation
- Strengthening Education Accessibility:
- Provide education kits and bicycles to students to enhance their access to education and reduce transportation barriers.
- Improve access to educational resources and support systems to increase school attendance and improve academic performance.
- Empowering Women through Skill Enhancement:
- Organize skill enhancement workshops focused on tailoring techniques, enabling women to achieve economic resilience and self-sufficiency. This initiative will not only foster independence among women but also contribute positively to the local economy.
- Improving Access to Clean Water:
- Distribute water purifiers to families, enhancing their ability to access clean drinking water, reducing the risk of water-borne diseases, and significantly improving their quality of life.
