First Programme: Join us as we uplift spirits and ease suffering in Gaza with the distribution of Food Meal Kits.
In light of the recent UN Human Rights press release (16th January 2024), which highlights a heartbreaking reality - 80% of those facing extreme hunger worldwide are in Gaza - the Mercy Relief team on the ground has responded with urgency.
On 17th and 18th January 2024, Mercy Relief Chairman, Satwant Singh and Executive Director, Muhammad Ashik visited local warehouses, preparing to deliver the first relief programme: food meal packs. This programme will deliver essential meal packs to at least 4,800 individuals affected by the ongoing conflict in Gaza, making their lives that little bit easier.

This programme will provide essential hot meals to 7,500 displaced people that have been forced to flee from their homes and live in tents during the winter season in the crowded Rafah Refugee Camp with limited access to food due to the conflict.
