Mercy Relief's Water, Sanitation & Shelter Project: Gaza
The conflict in Gaza has caused a severe infrastructure and humanitarian crisis. Critical infrastructure destruction has displaced thousands into overcrowded, unsanitary conditions, with urgent needs for shelter repair and hygiene supplies as winter approaches. Water disruptions have rendered over 96% of water unsafe, heightening health risks for vulnerable populations.
Our interventions include:
- Providing 300 households with safe, sanitary toilets and 15 liters of clean water daily for two months.
- Distributing 200 hygiene kits to reduce disease spread and improve personal hygiene.
- Upgrading and reinforcing 100 tent shelters to better support 100 households.
